Nature at Work is a statewide initiative helping employers, communities, and organizations create healthier, more resilient places through nature-based strategies. Backed by the South Carolina Nature, Health & Business Group, the initiative blends health, environmental stewardship, and economic vitality through cross-sector leadership and collaboration. Our work is grounded in science-informed practices—such as biophilic design, green infrastructure, outdoor engagement, and environmental volunteerism—that create healthier, more resilient workplaces and communities. These strategies help employers strengthen workforce wellbeing, deepen community connections, and demonstrate environmental leadership.
